The centres, set up under the ‘Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan’ would educate those children who fail to join schools due to poverty, an official spokesman said on Friday. The children engaged in domestic work, rag-picking activities or employed in small or cottage industries would get vocational as well as elementary education in these centres so that they are able to earn their livelihood, he said
